The story of Robert J. Oppenhiemer is one of the most profound and interesting stories of one of the most important men in history. The reason this movie is so great is because it shows how much tension and presure there was to create the atomic bomb back in ww2. This movie shows the stress of having been behind nazi germany in the creation of the bomb and hoping that the united states reaches the creation first. This movie shows how much distain there was for the communists and russia in the 1940s even though they were our "allies". Any association with the party would put your reputation in grave risk as showed perfectly in "Oppenhiemer (2023)" This movie also does and incredible job of showing Oppenhiemers moral conflictions after building the bomb. Asked multiple times "why he didnt have the conflictions before building the bomb." Oppenhiemer was forced to tunnel vision the manhatten project as it was the only hope of humanites fight against the third riech. But after building the bomb he realized the gravity of the desturctive capabilites of the bomb. Thus the quote "Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds. I guess we all felt that one way or the other." This movie personally inspired me to consider studying physics. And as for the actors. Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Robert Downey J, Jack Quaid, Rami Malek, and Cassey Afleck. All phonemonal Actors and Actreses. One thing I was worried about was that Cillian Murphy who stared in Peaky Blinders would transfer the Thomas Shelby persona into this movie. As much as I loved the character that wasn't the personality of Oppenhiemer. But after finishing the movie I was releaved and astounded by how well he portrayed Roberts personality in real life. The movie mixed with the inspiration it gave me makes me have to put it in my Top 10 movies of all time. The reason it's not the top is because the diaolgoue in the movie is so complex and hard to follow that I had to rewatch the flim multiple times to get a good grasp on what follows in the movie. As this is my personal review the only reason this is true for me is because my natrual iq isn't high enough to comprehend the entirity of the film in one session.
